Hello, I am Crystal Siew!
I'm a UX designer and entrepreneur based in New York City — currently at Richline Group, where I've grown from executing designs to owning end-to-end product experiences across a multi-brand portfolio.
Building a wholesale business from scratch early in my career taught me something design school doesn't: that real products live or die by the decisions made under pressure, with incomplete information, and limited resources. That mindset shapes how I work today.
I've always been drawn to the intersection of creativity and systems thinking — the kind of problem where aesthetics and logic have to coexist. UX design is where that clicked. It gave me a way to be rigorous and expressive at the same time, and to make work that actually affects people.
What's changed recently is how I work. I've integrated AI into my design workflow — using Claude for research synthesis and content strategy, Figma AI to accelerate ideation, and Midjourney to push creative concepts further and faster. I'm not just keeping up with the shift; I'm building with it.
Data without craft is a spreadsheet. Craft without data is decoration. I try to hold both.
